Mobile Sub menus not showing

Hi, I have looked for hours trying to get the sub menus to show up on Mobile Devices. Do I need the pro version for this to work correctly? I will upgrade if I know this will definitely work. Your plugin looks great for desktop but when I try and select sub menus on mobile devices and tablets nothing happens.
