Error Occurred While Processing This Directive Post Update

Ever since the hand-off to the new owners nearly every option in WP-Optimize results in my site timing out and giving the good old “Error Occurred While Processing This Directive” error message.

This was not the typical behavior prior to the code shuffling. It seems to require more resources now to run.
