We’ve been using Share-It to take payments for our software from 2004 until the end of 2016 when we finally made the painful switch to using WooCommerce. Stripe was the free plugin, so I thought we’d use that temporarily until we switched to a payment gateway in the USA. Stripe is in Ireland. But it’s worked so well for the month since we’ve started using it, we haven’t yet felt to the need to use something else. So far we’ve put through 15 charges totally about $5000 with no problem. I guess this is more a review of Stripe, but this plugin has worked just fine too, even though it says it hasn’t been tested with v4.7 of WP.
