Larger font size throughout

I really want to use your theme for an information sharing community website, because of the colour coding and display of categories.

But the font size throughout is much too small. It is noticeably smaller when switching from other websites where I have been viewing at my standard browset setting.

Is there any way of setting the font size to automatically start at a more standard size.
