My question is…
I’m trying to help a friend recover from a bad hack – numerous php files have been corrupted and the site has been used to send out spammy emails. I know there will be an issue with the wp-config file, but if the database is intact can I fix by reuploading all the WordPress php files again to restore the website and deleting then reinstalling the plugins. Any help appreciated!
