RE: Genesis Framework – Reduce space between content and sidebars whilst maintaining responsiveness.

I am using the Genesis Framework with the simple sample theme. My configuration is sidebar-content-sidebar.

Site:s618258022.websitehome.co.uk/

I require reducing the space between the outer sidebars (in the horizontal direction across the page). Mainly, I would like to increase the width of the central content block to fill the space more effectively, but I would also like to be able to adjust the widths of the sidebars at some time in the future.

I want to be able to do this whilst maintaining the same width of the site.

Also, I need the site to scale properly in the originally intended responsive manner across all devices, desktop, tablet and mobile.

I did get offered a solution by Studiopress, but implementing it meant the site went bonkers when the width of the browser was reduced, and also for tablet and mobile making it right dog’s dinner in those two modes.

I realise this is probably non-trivial. But, it must be a very common requirement as it seems like something most people would want to control it.

I appreciate anyone’s effort and time about shedding any light on this issue, or any solutions.

Many thanks in advance, Ben.
