You're pretty dense.
I stepped away from the plugin for the last 4 months because I've been under contract and have been too busy to do anything else (especially give away time for free, because that's totally a reliable business model). You can see the commit history on Github: https://github.com/Mvied/wordpress-https/commits/master
You have no idea how much time I've spent developing and supporting this plugin. I guarantee it's a lot more than many other plugin developers. I'll support it and develop when I have time. I'm actually about to push out version 3.4 I created back in March but never released for WP 3.6.
I have chosen not to create a business model around this plugin because I don't have time to do it correctly. Contract work is more enjoyable and straight-forward. I also don't have to spend hours on support forums. I'm a developer and I don't feel like doing that. I like creating awesome stuff in the web, not walking through the FAQ repeatedly.
At some point in the future I may provide premium support for the plugin, but it will be contracted out to other developers.
