Remove /category/ bug with subcategories

Hello,

when marking the remove /category/ from the link option, the plugin does remove it and works good for category links, but for subcategories it gives a 404 on these pages.. ex:

http://domain.com/category/YOURCATEGORYNAME to http://domain.com/YOURCATEGORYNAME works good

http://domain.com/category/YOURCATEGORYNAME/YOURSUBCATEGORYNAME to http://domain.com/YOURCATEGORYNAME/YOURSUBCATEGORYNAME it will give a 404..

Any clue on how to solve this?
